Word on the Street Theater Neighborhood mission statement:
- Word on the Street Theater Neighborhood seeks to foster safer street environments and build strong, connected communities for all users and peoples in urban neighborhoods.
- We advocate for people-friendly strategies in transportation and community-centric design for urban streets.
- Word on the Street Theater advocates for sustainable and environmentally friendly, multi-modal transportation on all urban streets, sidewalks, and public rights-of-way. We facilitate community empowerment by promoting collaboration between individuals, local businesses, and community organizations.
- We create and teach citizen led, community strategies via performing and visual arts. We believe artist expression is for everyone, and remove the boundaries between the artist and the audience through interactive performances. Our outreach educates through entertainment.

Volunteers will help with set-up, crowd control, information tent, staffing activity centers, hydration station, and tear down.
