Rochester Hope is a space for community members to come together in service of one another, ensuring each person has the material resources and social support to live with dignity.
What We Do
Rochester Hope invites you to join us for our Festival of Service!
Every Saturday Rochester Hope opens the doors of our food pantry from 9:00a-3:30p, serving nearly 400 families every week. The pantry operates as a small free grocery store, where every person receives a small shopping cart and is paired with a personal shopper. As a volunteer, you can be a personal shopper, help restock shelves, or pull the grocery wagon to the parking lot.
We also serve a community meal and host a rotation of dozens of community service agencies to table and host clinics, which people can visit as they wait to grocery shop. As a volunteer, you can help serve the meal. Of course, you are also welcome to sit and share the community meal!
