Who We Are
We R Buffalo Strong offers hope and a sense of normalcy to the unhoused during challenging times, emphasizing that homelessness is a situation, not a definition of who people are. We serve them with dignity and on occasion, we dine together! By sharing my passion for cooking with other generous, giving people throughout the community, we have been able to host family-style events such as BBQ picnics with a live DJ, Buffalo Bills tailgating, and even cosmetic enhancements including haircuts/hairstyles, and manicures, all held under the viaduct. WRBS continues to bring people from diverse backgrounds together to serve the less fortunate.
